Music on the Green (Summer 2024)

Southington's 30th annual "Music on the Green" outdoor concert series will take place on Wednesdays, May 29-September 4, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Southington Town Green (Route 10/Main St.). Admission is free. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating and enjoy the show!

In the event of inclement weather, concerts may be postponed to Thursday evening. A postponement or cancellation, if necessary, will be announced by 2:00 pm on the day of the concert.

Free parking is available in the municipal lots located behind the Town Hall (lower and upper lot entrances on Berlin Ave.), on Riccio Way (entrance on Main St. at traffic light by People's United Bank), and off of Center Street. Please do not park in private driveways and/or lots owned by local businesses.

Classic Car Show

A classic car show will also be held during each concert week, weather-permitting, in the parking lot behind the stage. There is no fee or registration process for those wishing to display their vehicle; however, spaces are limited and vehicles will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who wish to participate may arrive no earlier than 5:00 PM. Please access the lot via the entrance on Columbus Avenue (located behind 98 Main Street). A program staff member will greet you and provide directions on where to park.

PLEASE NOTE: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on and around the Town Green per Town Ordinance (§312-5). Dogs, skateboards, in-line skates/rollerblades, bicycles, scooters (gas, battery, or push) and motorized vehicles are also not allowed on the grounds during this event (§390-20). Police dogs & vehicles, working service dogs, and motorized or non-motorized devices used by disabled persons are exempt.
