2017 Festival Parking Restrictions

On Friday, 9/29/17 through Sunday, 10/1/17 and on Friday, 10/6/17 through Sunday, 10/8/17, the following streets will be posted as "No Parking" on either side of the street:

High St.
Academy St.
Hobart St.
Center Ct.
Liberty St.
Center St.
Merrell Ave.
Center Pl.
North Liberty St.
Chestnut St.
Oak St.
Columbus Ave.
Vermont Ave.
Eden Ave.
Vermont Terr.

 

In addition, on Sunday, 10/1/17, the following streets will be posted as "No Parking" due to the Apple Harvest Festival Parade:

Beecher St.
Bristol St.
Chestnut St.
Church St.
Cowles Ave.
Eden Pl.
Elm St.
Knowles Ave.
Main St.
Matthews St.
Prospect St. (West St. to Summer St.)
South Center St.
Speechley Ave.
Summer St.
Water St.
West Main St.

 

Access to Cowles Ave., Prospect St., Summer St. and Elm St. will be shut down at 11:00 a.m. on the day of the parade.

All streets listed above will be under the special parking restrictions from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Violators will be subject to a $35 fine and/or towing of the vehicle.

Special Restrictions - Fireworks Night

The Festival's fireworks display will be set off from the Dog Park located on Mill St. on Saturday, 9/30/17.  The section of Mill St. between North Main St. (Route 10) and Water St. will be blocked off starting at 2:00 pm on Saturday, 9/30/17 and reopening at 11:00 p.m. the same day.

The Dog Park will be closed to the public from noon on Saturday, 9/30/17 and will reopen at noon on Sunday, 10/1/17.  During this time, the Linear Trail will also be closed between High St. (YMCA) and the Municipal Center Building.  This will create a safety zone and traffic will be detoured around the Mill St. closure.
