PHOTO  CONTEST

The Town of Southington is hosting a photo contest for photographers of all ages to capture the Spirit of Southington.  Winning entries will be published on www.southington.org.   New winners will be chosen each month throughout the year.

All winning images submitted become the property of the Town of Southington and may be used on and/or removed from the town website at any time, as the town sees fit.

Contest Rules

1) Open to all who live or work in Southington.

2) Photographers may submit just one entry per person per month. New winners will be chosen the last week of each month and published the following month.

3) All "Spirit of Southington" images must be of a scene or an event within the Town of Southington. Images must be digital and submitted electronically to the Town Clerk, Leslie Cotton, at cotton@southington.org.

5) All entries must include a photo, location where the photo was taken, name, e-mail address and parent or guardian name (if photographer is under 18). Entries without all the necessary details will not be considered for publication on www.southington.org

6) The webmasters of the Town of Southington reserve the right to resize and/or crop the image for optimal viewing on the Southington website.

7) Images published to www.southington.org will be accompanied by a photo credit, which includes the title of the photo and the photographer’s full name. In submitting an entry, photographers agree to their names appearing on the Town of Southington website.
