- Students must be residents of Southington.
- Dances are open to Middle School students ONLY.
- Students must have their hands stamped at school the day of the dance. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Southington residents attending out-of-town schools must have their hands stamped at the Parks & Recreation Department prior to the dance (on Friday). They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Call (860) 276-6219 with any questions or concerns.
- Dances begin at 7:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM. Parents are asked not to drop off students prior to 6:45 PM, and to pick them up promptly at 9:00 PM.
- Students will not be allowed to leave the dance prior to 9:00 PM.
- No smoking, drinking, or use of drugs, knives, etc. Loitering will not be tolerated. Police take notice!
- Only soft-soled shoes will be allowed. If wearing hard-soled shoes, students will be asked to remove them.
- Do not wear anything valuable. No hats or backpacks of any kind are allowed. Proper clothing is required. If it's not allowed to be worn in school, students cannot wear it to the dance.
- Please make arrangements for rides prior to the dance. The phone is for emergency use ONLY.
Students found in violation of any of the above rules will not be allowed to remain at the dance. These regulations are for the safety and enjoyment of the students attending the dance. Thank you for your cooperation! Back to Parks & Rec Dept. |
