- Minimum Charge is 1000 C.F./Year X $2.42/100 C.F. = $24.20/Year
- Sewer usage charges per year that are serviced by private wells:

3 people $218.16 8 people $581.76

HOW IS MY SEWER USAGE BILL CALCULATED?
Usage is based on the amount of water used during the winter quarter. The reason for this is, generally, any water used during the winter is discharged into the sanitary sewer. During the summer months water is used to water lawns, wash cars and fill pools. This water does not enter the sanitary sewer system. By basing the billing usage on the winter quarter only, the property owners are not billed unnecessarily for water that did not enter the sanitary sewer system. Properties using Town water:
Metered Quarter Water Consumption / # of days in quarter = water consumption per day
Water consumption per day x 365 days = annual water consumption
Annual water consumption x $2.42/100 c.f. = sewer usage bill Properties with private wells:
