Special Concert Event
The Southington Apple Harvest Festival Committee is pleased to announce that they will welcome American alternative rock band Vertical Horizon to the main stage on Saturday, October 9, 2021. We are honored to have Hartford HealthCare as the “Band Sponsor” for this special event.
This is a FREE show. There are no tickets and viewing areas in front of the stage and on the Town Green will be standing room only (no chairs permitted).
Founded in the early 1990s, Vertical Horizon released three albums independently and toured extensively. In 1999, Vertical Horizon signed with RCA and experienced meteoric success with their number one single, "Everything You Want," selling over two million copies. The title song captured the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 charts, and went on to become the most played single of 2000. Having carved out a page in the annals of music history, the band also garnered further radio attention with “You’re a God” (#4 on Billboard’s Adult Chart) and “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning),” which served as the band’s fourth overall single and their third consecutive Top Ten hit on the Billboard Adult Top 40 charts. As a follow-up, in 2003, the band released "Go." Tracks such as “Inside,” “I'm Still Here,” and “Forever” provided true commercial appeal. To this day Vertical Horizon continues releasing new music and touring extensively.
