The 54th Apple Harvest Festival is scheduled to take place on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) of September 29, 30, October 1, and October 6, 7 & 8, 2023.

Yes; however, shuttle bus service runs on Saturdays & Sundays only. The buses will be located at Southington High School, 720 Pleasant Street, where there is plenty of free parking. Buses run continuously to/from the Festival grounds starting 30 minutes before the Festival’s opening time and ending 30 minutes past closing time. The shuttle service is free of charge.
Strollers, wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices may be brought on board the shuttle buses so long as they can be folded to fit in a seating area. For safety reasons, no items may be stored in the aisle.

Yes. The Southington Town Hall’s visitor parking lot has been designated for handicapped parking only during Festival hours. The entrance to the lot is on Berlin Avenue across from TD Bank. The lot itself is situated directly behind the Southington Community Cultural Arts (SoCCA) building at 93 Main Street.
Dogs/pets are prohibited on the Festival grounds per Southington Town Ordinance (Ch. 390 Sec. 20) and violators will be subject to a fine. Certified service animals being used by persons with disabilities are exempt. Therapy and/or emotional support animals are not included in the ADA's definition of certified service animals and therefore are prohibited on the Festival grounds.
Admission to the Southington Apple Harvest Festival is FREE! Parking at Southington High School (720 Pleasant St.) and shuttle bus service to and from the Festival grounds is also free of charge.
Special Events
The Festival's fireworks display is anticipated to be scheduled for 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023. In the event of inclement weather, fireworks would be postponed until the following Saturday, October 7.
The fireworks are shot off from the Southington Dog Park property on Mill Street (north of the Town Green). The fireworks will be viewable from all areas of the Festival grounds. Music will be played from the main stage to accompany the fireworks display. Shuttle buses to Southington High School will run for an additional half hour (until 10:00 pm) to accommodate visitors who choose to stay for the show.
The annual Festival Parade is scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2023. The parade will kick off near Knowles Avenue (Plantsville) at 2:00 pm and proceed toward the downtown/Main Street area, concluding at the intersection of Main Street and Eden Avenue.
