Planning & Zoning Department
We encourage everyone to submit permits and applications digitally via email or online at CitySquared or via drop box at the side entrance of the Municipal Center. If an onsite visit to one of our offices is necessary, face masks shall be worn at all times when entering and remaining in the Municipal Center building. This is for the safety of everyone; the general public and the town employees providing service to the same.

Planning and Zoning Department
The staff of the Planning and Zoning Department provides technical assistance to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Conservation Commission/Inland Wetland Agency and Zoning Board of Appeals. The staff also answers public inquiries regarding planning, development and land use regulations. The staff of the Department interacts with the development community and reviews the various permit applications which are submitted for the land use boards and commissions consideration as well as zoning permits for new construction and additions to existing structures.
