Online Payments
The Southington Tax Collector's Office has contracted with a third party vendor, InvoiceCloud for online payments using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express). A convenience fee of 2.78% will be charged by InvoiceCloud to process your electronic credit card payment. This vendor also offers an e-check payment option that will immediately deduct the charge directly from your checking account for a flat fee of $1.95. These fees are not collected by or remitted to the Town of Southington.
Important! If you pay delinquent motor vehicle tax bills online or in person, you will NOT be able to register/renew registration at CT DMV for up to 48 hours from the time of payment. Do NOT pay delinquent motor vehicle tax bills on this site and expect to conduct DMV registration business on the same day. A report is sent to DMV every evening listing all taxpayers that are clear to register. This is a Town of Southington policy and exceptions will not be made.
