Southington Youth Services offers individual counseling services to youth ages 8-18 who may be experiencing problems at home, in school or in the community. The agency requires a parent conference prior to a counselor meeting with the child to make sure our services are appropriate to the needs of the child. By CT state statute, youth ages 14 and older can seek counseling services on their own.
We are also available to families in a crisis situation. In some cases, our services can not meet the needs of the child or family, in which case we would refer the family to another resource.
