The Juvenile Review Board confidentially reviews all cases of Southington Juvenile arrests and makes recommendations to the Chief of Police regarding the appropriate disciplinary actions. The purpose of this program is to divert first time juvenile offenders from the Juvenile Court System and make them directly accountable to their community for their unlawful acts. It is also a way for the Board to identify youth and families who need other community services and to connect them to those services.
