When I'm In Charge

This Red Cross course is for 4th, 5th or 6th grade students  who are ready to stay home alone.  Students in this class will receive tips on being safe and responsible.

  • Basic First Aid
  • Basic Internet Safety
  • Getting along with siblings
  • What to do in the event of household dangers
  • Other safety topics

Thursday February 16, 2023, 5 - 6:30 pm

This class is for Southington youth residents over 10 years of age, and is limited to 5 slots. Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. Please call 860-276-6281 to register your child today!  The cost of the class is TBD (please check back at a later date) per child and checks can be made payable to the Town of Southington. Credit/debit card payments are now accepted online.
