The Southington Apple Harvest Festival is a six-day event that takes place over the course of two weekends each Fall. This annual event is one of the largest and longest running festivals in the Northeast and typically draws a crowd of over 100,000 people. The 2022 Festival is scheduled for the weekends (Friday-Sunday) of September 30-October 2 and October 7-9.
The Festival is one of Connecticut's top tourist events held during the height of New England's beautiful fall foliage. Visitors will enjoy a jam-packed schedule of events, entertainment, activities, specialty foods, crafts and fun for all ages.
Situated on and around the picturesque Southington Town Green, the Apple Harvest Festival is a food-lover's dream amidst a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere of family-oriented fun. For many, visiting the Festival is a tradition shared with friends and family, and attendance numbers have risen with each passing year.

2022 PARADE GRAND MARSHAL: Congratulations to Ed Dresel who has been selected as the Grand Marshal for this year's parade! Ed became involved with the Festival first as its Coordinator in 1992, then continued on as the Parade Announcer through 2019. We thank him for his nearly 30 years of service to our beloved community event!
"GRANNY APPLE" CONTEST: Southington resident children in grades 4-6 are invited to nominate their grandmothers (also Southington residents, please) for a chance to be selected as the "Granny Apple" of the 2022 Festival!
